Which surface is the best for watercolors?

On plain paper or on hammered paper. When watercolors are diluted with plenty of water, they become transparent and lend themselves well to the traditional watercolor technique.

Watercolors are very liquid and let the color or the underlying paper shine through. Transparency, very thin layers of colour and blank zones are specific characteristics of this type of painting.

Its freshness and expressive immediacy has fascinated Artists of all time.

Is it easy to paint with watercolors? 

It is not difficult, but it is necessary to have experience, because mistakes can hardly be corrected by overlapping further paint. Watercolor is great for making quick splashes and requires space-saving equipment.
